blacksheepbrewery.com offers agents a way to order; we found no way to change or cancel it afterwards.

The biggest step: Let agents send you a message (+14).

Local businesses we find are listed by name once we match their site to their entry on public maps, or once the owner proves the site is theirs. We haven't matched this one. Yours? Prove it, free

Surfing Dog Inbox would let agents message you: +14 points once it's live at inbox.blacksheepbrewery.com. Orders placed in your own checkout stay there: changing, cancelling, returning or getting receipts for them needs a door in that system. What it is

Your llms.txt names an API we couldn't use: it's on another site, which our check doesn't read; declare it when you claim your listing.

What's missing

Let agents send you a message (+14 points)

Ask Shopify whether it offers an agent door (an MCP server or an API).

Guide

More

A customer's assistant can ask you a question and come back for your answer, instead of telling them to call.

Add send_message to your MCP server, or publish an A2A agent card at /.well-known/agent-card.json.

Publish a door that takes messages: an A2A agent card, a send_message tool on an MCP server, or an agent inbox.

What counts: send_message, contact, ask_question, create_support_ticket, POST /messages. An agent inbox, an A2A agent card, or a tool that sends you a message or opens a support ticket, on an MCP server of your own or one your UCP profile declares as a service. Email, phone, forms and chat widgets are made for people, so they don't count.
Let agents change a booking or an order (+8 points)

Add reschedule_booking or update_order next to the tool that creates the booking or the order.

Guide

More

Plans change; if an agent can't move a booking or change an order, the customer has to call, or cancels.

Add a tool such as reschedule_booking or update_order on the door that takes the booking or the order.

What counts: reschedule_booking, update_booking, change_reservation, update_order, modify_order, PATCH /bookings/{id}, PATCH /orders/{id}. An inbox that takes bookings or orders.
Let agents cancel (+8 points)

Add cancel_booking or cancel_order next to the tool that creates it, and state your cancellation terms in words.

Guide

More

A cancellation an agent can make frees the slot or stops the order at once, instead of becoming a no-show.

Add a tool such as cancel_booking or cancel_order on the door that takes the booking or the order, and state your cancellation terms in words.

What counts: cancel_booking, cancel_order, cancel_membership, DELETE /bookings/{id}, DELETE /orders/{id}. An inbox that takes bookings or orders.
Let agents start a return or a refund (+8 points)

Add request_return on your MCP server or in your OpenAPI document, and mark up your returns policy (MerchantReturnPolicy).

Guide

More

An assistant can start a return for its person instead of walking them through a form.

Ask your returns platform for an API you can publish, or add request_return on a door of your own.

What counts: request_return, start_return, request_refund, create_return, POST /returns. A UCP return capability.
Let agents get a receipt or an invoice (+8 points)

Add a small get_invoice tool that looks up an invoice by order number and email.

Guide

More

Customers' assistants keep records; one that can fetch the invoice doesn't ask you for it by email.

Add a small get_invoice tool, on a door of your own, that looks up an invoice by order number and email.

What counts: get_invoice, get_receipt, GET /invoices/{id}. A door that returns the receipt or the invoice for something an agent booked or ordered, or an inbox that takes orders.

llms.txt

Found and readable: https://www.blacksheepbrewery.com/llms.txt.

It names 4 doors for agents that we couldn't use.

Each door it names

An API: we couldn't use it; it's on another site, which our check doesn't read; declare it when you claim your listing.
An MCP server: we couldn't use it; it's on another site, which our check doesn't read; declare it when you claim your listing.
An MCP server: we couldn't use it; it turned the request away.
A UCP checkout: we couldn't use it; it's on another site, which our check doesn't read; declare it when you claim your listing.

An llms.txt helps an assistant read about a business; on its own it opens no door to ask, book or order, so it earns no points. What llms.txt does, and doesn't · The llms.txt checker

Your next step

Ask your AI to help

I run blacksheepbrewery.com. Please help me make it work for AI agents, the assistants that act for customers.
1. Read what's missing: https://surfingdog.ai/b/blacksheepbrewery.com.json. Capabilities marked "no" or "partial", and the guide lines with their points, are the gaps. The rules are at https://surfingdog.ai/v1/score-rules.
2. Read https://surfingdog.ai/guides/ai-assistant-messages-and-quotes/ and https://surfingdog.ai/guides/sell-through-ai-assistants/#after before suggesting anything. It's advice, not rules.
3. Ask me, and don't guess: which tools I use today (website platform, booking, checkout, payments, helpdesk), and for each action (message, quote, book, order, pay, change, cancel, track, return) whether my own system, an inbox, or nobody should handle it. Don't set up a door I can't fulfil.
4. Start with the biggest gap: Let agents send you a message. Before each change, tell me in two lines what you'll change and where, and wait for my yes. Ask before anything that costs money, changes DNS or sends email.
5. What Surfing Dog Inbox would add, as the result says it: Surfing Dog Inbox would let agents message you: +14 points once it's live at inbox.blacksheepbrewery.com. Orders placed in your own checkout stay there: changing, cancelling, returning or getting receipts for them needs a door in that system. If we choose it, give me https://app.surfingdog.ai/start?domain=blacksheepbrewery.com to open myself: I check the details and type my own email there, so don't type it for me. At the end I add one DNS record at my domain. Set it up on our own server only if I ask: then follow https://surfingdog.ai/install.md step by step.
6. Make every door findable from blacksheepbrewery.com itself: a /.well-known file, an MCP server card, or a line in llms.txt saying what each address is.
7. When done, open https://surfingdog.ai/b/blacksheepbrewery.com and use "Check again" (allowed a few minutes after the last read), then show me what changed.
Never invent prices, hours, policies or abilities: ask me.

Tools of your own already, such as a checkout, a booking system or a helpdesk? Declare them, and bridge the rest: setting up for agents.

Run Surfing Dog Inbox yourself, with your AI

I run blacksheepbrewery.com. Please install Surfing Dog Inbox for it: open-source software (MIT) that runs on my own Cloudflare account or my own server, so AI agents can reach my business directly.
What it would add, as the check at https://surfingdog.ai/b/blacksheepbrewery.com says: Surfing Dog Inbox would let agents message you: +14 points once it's live at inbox.blacksheepbrewery.com. Orders placed in your own checkout stay there: changing, cancelling, returning or getting receipts for them needs a door in that system.
1. Read https://surfingdog.ai/setting-up-for-agents.md, then follow https://surfingdog.ai/install.md step by step.
2. Ask me, and don't guess: where it should run, the email address I sign in with, and the address it sends from.
3. Ask before anything that costs money, changes DNS or sends email.
4. Once it answers at its own subdomain (inbox.blacksheepbrewery.com is usual), add a line to https://blacksheepbrewery.com/llms.txt with its manifest's address, such as https://inbox.blacksheepbrewery.com/.well-known/agent-inbox.json, so agents and checkers find it.
5. Then open https://surfingdog.ai/b/blacksheepbrewery.com, choose "Check again", and show me what changed.
Never invent prices, hours, policies or abilities: ask me.

To run it on your own server instead, tell your AI so, or follow the install guide.

Subject: What AI agents can do on blacksheepbrewery.com: 54/100

Hello,

I checked blacksheepbrewery.com with Surfing Dog on 2026-10-20. It reads a website the way an AI assistant does when a customer asks it to order, and scores how far it can go: 54/100 (C), counted as a shop.
Full result: https://surfingdog.ai/b/blacksheepbrewery.com

Agents can already: find the business, read its catalogue, check availability, order, pay and track a booking or an order.

What's missing, biggest gain at the top:
1. Let agents send you a message (+14 points)
Ask Shopify whether it offers an agent door (an MCP server or an API).
2. Let agents change a booking or an order (+8 points)
What counts: reschedule_booking, update_booking, change_reservation, update_order, modify_order, PATCH /bookings/{id}, PATCH /orders/{id}. An inbox that takes bookings or orders.
Add reschedule_booking or update_order next to the tool that creates the booking or the order.
3. Let agents cancel (+8 points)
What counts: cancel_booking, cancel_order, cancel_membership, DELETE /bookings/{id}, DELETE /orders/{id}. An inbox that takes bookings or orders.
Add cancel_booking or cancel_order next to the tool that creates it, and state your cancellation terms in words.
4. Let agents start a return or a refund (+8 points)
   What counts: request_return, start_return, request_refund, create_return, POST /returns. A UCP return capability.
Add request_return on your MCP server or in your OpenAPI document, and mark up your returns policy (MerchantReturnPolicy).
5. Let agents get a receipt or an invoice (+8 points)
What counts: get_invoice, get_receipt, GET /invoices/{id}. A door that returns the receipt or the invoice for something an agent booked or ordered, or an inbox that takes orders.
Add a small get_invoice tool that looks up an invoice by order number and email.

Surfing Dog Inbox would let agents message you: +14 points once it's live at inbox.blacksheepbrewery.com. Orders placed in your own checkout stay there: changing, cancelling, returning or getting receipts for them needs a door in that system.
The owner starts it here, with their own email: https://app.surfingdog.ai/start?domain=blacksheepbrewery.com. At the end it takes one DNS record at the domain, for inbox.blacksheepbrewery.com. How it works: https://surfingdog.ai/inbox/

Already fine: your MCP and UCP doors count; nothing to change there.

Once a change is live, open https://surfingdog.ai/b/blacksheepbrewery.com and choose "Check again": a fresh read can be asked for a few minutes after the last one.
How the score works: https://surfingdog.ai/v1/score-rules. It's not a certification; it's what the site and its doors said on 2026-10-20.

Thanks

Your AI can do it too (how). Checking a site is not claiming it: its owner alone can change this page. Stop all crawling of your site.

This is not a certification: it is what our crawler read on blacksheepbrewery.com's own site and doors on 2026-10-20, scored by the published rules. Nobody can pay for a score or a place.

Evidence: declared — the business's own site or door says so; tested — our own read of its door saw it listed in the 7 days before this check. We have not tried it.
