Free MCP server tester
MCP server tester: is yours ready for AI agents?
Paste your MCP server's address, or your website and we'll find it. We ask it what it offers, the way an assistant would, and never call a tool.
Free, no sign-up, no email. Most answers take a few seconds.

What we ask
What your server offers, the way an assistant asks: server/discover, or initialize then tools/list on older servers. We read each tool's name, description, input schema and hints, against the current version of the protocol (2026-07-28).
It never acts
We never call a tool, so nothing is booked, bought or changed. If your server asks for sign-in, we check what an assistant needs to start signing in, step by step, and stop there. We never sign in.
What it tells you
Whether the server answers, which version it speaks, which tools let an assistant message you, ask for a quote, book or order, and where to start.
Questions
What is an MCP server?
A door that lets AI assistants use your service: it lists tools, such as "book a table", that an assistant can call for its person. MCP is an open protocol; the current version is 2026-07-28.
Does the test call my tools?
Never. We ask what the server offers, and nothing else (server/discover, or initialize and tools/list on older servers). Nothing is booked, bought or changed.
Can you test a server that needs sign-in?
We check what an assistant needs to start signing in: the 401 answer, its resource_metadata, and your authorization server's metadata. We never sign in.
Why does it say my server is on an older version?
Since 2026-07-28, MCP has no sessions or initialize step, and servers must answer server/discover. Older servers still work with many clients; update when your SDK supports it.
What are tool annotations?
Hints on each tool: readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint, openWorldHint. They help an assistant decide when to ask its person before acting. Clients treat them as untrusted unless they trust your server.
