Your business in Meta Muse

Muse is Meta's personal AI agent. When someone asks it to book the bike in for a service or get three quotes for a boiler, it needs a way into the business. Your inbox is that way in, in your name and with your rules.

  • A customer's Meta Muse books with you

    Your inbox's public MCP server, at /mcp, lets any assistant see your services and free times, book, ask for a quote, order, and answer what you propose. No sign-in. Each request lands as a booking, quote request, order or message, and your rules answer it.

  • Your own Meta Muse runs your inbox

    The owner MCP server, at /mcp/owner, shows what needs a person, tells an item's whole story, replies to customers, moves items on and edits your services and hours. Custom connectors use your inbox's public MCP server, which needs no sign-in: a customer's request lands as a booking, quote request, order or message.

Add it in Meta Muse

  1. Muse works with the services it has connectors for, and a person can ask it to use one it doesn't: give it your inbox's address, https://inbox.yourdomain.com.
  2. Muse can build a custom connector from what a service publishes. Your inbox publishes its API description (/openapi.json) and an MCP server (/mcp) for exactly that.
  3. Meta's own directory lists connectors it has reviewed. That is a separate submission to Meta; until a business is listed there, Muse reaches it as a custom connector.

Plans. Muse and its directory are available in the US and Canada; custom connectors follow Meta's roll-out.

Meta does not review custom connectors. Your inbox is built for that: every request goes through your rules, a priced booking or order binds nobody until the person confirmed its summary, and nothing reaches your calendar without a state you can see.

Checked 30 September 2026 against Meta: the Muse developer platform. Your inbox speaks every MCP revision from March 2025 to the current one (2026-07-28), so older and newer clients both connect.

Being found

A customer's assistant has to know where you are. Put your inbox's address on your website and in your profiles, and join the Surfing Dog network: a directory assistants search through their own MCP connector, https://network.surfingdog.ai/mcp, which answers with verified businesses near a place or by what they do.

People with no assistant get your page at the same address: book a time, ask for a quote, send a message.
