Report a hosted inbox

How to tell us about a hosted inbox that is unlawful or breaks our rules, and what happens next.

Last updated 13 October 2026. Surfing Dog Lda, Portugal. Questions: hello@surfingdog.ai

Every page a hosted inbox shows has a Report this inbox link. You can also write to abuse@surfingdog.ai.

What to send

  1. The inbox’s address (the hostname in your browser), and anything else that helps us find what you mean.
  2. Why you think it is unlawful, or which of our acceptable use rules it breaks.
  3. Your name and email address, so we can tell you what we decided. You may leave them out when reporting child sexual abuse material, and in no other case.
  4. A sentence saying you believe your report is accurate and complete.

What happens

  • A person reads every report.
  • We decide within 5 working days, and at once when someone’s life or safety is at risk. A suspected crime that threatens life or safety goes to the police.
  • We tell you what we decided and how to ask us to look again.
  • If we restrict the inbox, its owner gets a written statement of what we did and why, and can ask us to look again. A person who did not take the decision does.
  • Either of you can also complain to ANACOM, Portugal’s Digital Services Coordinator, or go to court.
